Packing Tips
- Label everything
Include your name and destination room on every box. - Use sturdy cartons
Removalist-grade boxes offer the best protection. Available to purchase at our facility. - Keep boxes manageable
Aim for 15–20kg max per carton. - Protect fragile items
Wrap well and clearly mark as Fragile. - Pack an essentials box
Keep daily items (chargers, toiletries, documents) handy. - Skip newspaper
Use butchers paper to avoid marks on your items.
Preparing for Moving Day
- Furniture prep
Wipe down items (avoid polish or wax). - Outdoor equipment
Clean and empty fuel from tools like mowers and whipper snippers. - Fridge and washing machines ready
Defrost and dry prior to moving day. - Group plants together
Avoid watering 48 hours prior if possible. - Advise access details
Let us know about stairs, driveways, or tight access. - Check restricted items
Items like paint, gas bottles, and fuel cannot be transported.
